Federal Bank expands its reach in Southern India, opens a new branch at Katpadi
This is the 75th new branch of Federal Bank in this fiscal year and 200th in the Bank’s Chennai Zone

Katpadi (Tamil Nadu) [India], March 30: Federal Bank, opened a new branch at Katpadi, taking its total branches to 200 in the combined geographies of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. This is the 75th new branch opened by the Bank in this Financial Year and will offer a wide range of banking services to customers in the area. Another USP of the branch is, it is entirely staffed by women. The branch was inaugurated by Ms K Sangeetha Kathir Anand, Chairwoman, Kingston Group of Institutions, in the presence of Ms Sujatha Anandakumar, Mayor, Vellore Municipal Corporation, Ms Anitha Sampath, Vice President, Naruvi Hospitals, Nandakumar V, Executive Vice President and Head, Branch Banking, Federal Bank, Eqbal Manoj, Senior Vice President and Head, Chennai Zone, Meenakshi Sundaram V, Assistant Vice President & Area Head, other bank officials and customers. The event was presided by Ms. Shalini Warrier, Executive Director, Federal Bank.
